Plegasus was established in 2004 to provide unique insurance products to the Spanish insurance marketplace. Very few products were available in English and after several very successful introductions, Plegasus founded the Association of Insurance Agents in Spain to help other independent Insurance Agents to succeed.

This is a unique service and Plegasus are the only British Organisation in Spain, operating to assist and support any Independent Insurance Agency by providing a complete Insurance Agency Business Consultancy Service.

The Association of Insurance Agents is designed to provide you, the Insurance agent, with the ability to compete for more business, close more business, and retain more Insurance business. We are here to help and assist all those independent, tied insurance agents in Spain.

As a tied insurance agent, you are not permitted to sell any insurance product that is not offered by your existing insurance agency contract. The Association of Insurance Agents in Spain will provide you with outlets so that you can legally provide virtually any insurance product without it affecting your tied agency status. In essence, this does mean that you can at least provide a competitive quote for most forms of insurance.

If you consider that in up to 50% of cases, being unable to quote because your insurer does not provide the cover your client is looking for, or the quote you have provided is not competitive, will lose you this business. It also has the potential to lose you considerably more business from cross-selling your other insurance products.
